Ticket Plus sold to Ticketmaster

Ticketmaster, the world's largest ticketing company, said today it has acquired Honolulu-based Ticket Plus Inc. from Manuel Sanchez.Sanchez, who will become general manager of Ticketmaster's Hawai'i operations, said he was paid cash for his interest in the business but would not say how much.
Ticket Plus had four employees, including Sanchez. Kandus Simpson of Ticketmaster said all four will continue with Ticketmaster and they expect to add one more.
Ticketmaster has more than 3,500 retail outlets and 19 worldwide telephone call centers. It is based in West Hollywood, Calif., and is a division of USA Interactive.
