Pending approval by the Hawai'i State Boxing Commission, Viloria (11-0, 6 knockouts) and Leon (14-5, 6 KOs) will meet at the Sheraton Waikiki Ballroom, according to Gary Gittelsohn, Viloria's manager.
It will be the Waipahu fighter's first home appearance since a May 2002 first-round knockout of Sandro Oviedo at Blaisdell Arena.
It has not been decided if Viloria will put up either his World Boxing Council youth flyweight title or North American Boxing Federation flyweight crown, Gittelsohn said.
Leon's last bout was a Dec. 20 unanimous decision loss to Ivan Calderon of Puerto Rico. Like Viloria, Calderon was a 2000 Olympian, and owns an amateur victory over Viloria.
"He (Leon) had a very solid amateur career and has done well as a pro," Gittelsohn said. "He's a very durable fighter."
Three of Leon's five losses are by knockout; none earlier than the sixth round.
