• Michael Broderick has been appointed a Honolulu Family Court district judge, replacing former judge John Bryant. Bert Ayabe has been appointed a district court judge, replacing Marcia Waldorf, who was previously appointed to the Honolulu Circuit Court. Information in a Local News brief posted yesterday was incorrect.

• Of the $600,000 in food coupons distributed at the Women, Infants and Children program in Waimanalo, clients spend $200,000 at Mel's and Shima's markets in Waimanalo. A Loca News story posted yesterday gave different information because of an error by the news source.
