The ever-popular Pussycat Lounge celebrates its fifth birthday Tuesday with a massive blowout. For 260 Tuesdays and counting, this weekly event at Wave Waikiki has been lighting up the nightclub scene in Honolulu with rockin' DJs and wild dancers.

Get down and move to the throbbing electronic beats of DJ Keoki, above, local boy turned superstar. ABSTRACTheory (formerly Turnstyles) heats things up early with a blend of acid jazz, funk and hip-hop. Get crazy with special performances by the House of Chandelier, the return of Red Door and of course, the Glitter N Glamour Dancers.

All original first-year resident DJs — G-Spot, KSM, Racer X, GDog, Jrama, Sub Zero, GaryO, D Mofo D and Mark Chittom — will be in the house. Current residents Syze1, Rayne, Rundown and Jedi mix it up, too.

The party starts at 9 p.m.; for 21 and older only. Cover is $15 before midnight, $20 after. 941-0424.

All dressed up and somewhere to go
