Rehab nurses ratify contract

Nearly 40 registered nurses at the the Rehabilitation Hospital of the Pacific have ratified a contract similar to ones settled earlier by the so-called big five hospitals.
The contract calls for 21 percent salary increases over three years, additional increases for seniority and retiree medical benefits, said the Hawai'i Nurses Association.
Rehabilitation Hospital of the Pacific is Hawai'i's only acute rehabilitation hospital and treats nearly 10,000 patients each year.
