Tonight's Must-See

"World Figure Skating Championships," 7 p.m., ABC. Unless news coverage intervenes, skate fans can settle back for three hours of swirling women. Michelle Kwan is going for her fifth world title. Sasha Cohen and others will try to top her.

"Nashville Star," 9 p.m., USA Network; repeats at 10. If you haven't been following this show, now is a good time to give it a try. It easily moves the "American Idol" formula to country turf. The show started with six men and six women, most of whom were very talented. Each week, one person is dumped at the beginning of the show (via viewer votes from the previous week) and judges dump another person at the end. So far, that's been one-sided. Half the women are gone; none of the men have been ousted. The show's flaw is that it's been hyper. Singers must perform trimmed-down versions of songs but are then criticized for lacking nuance. But with lively audiences, sharp judges and talented singers, "Nashville Star" is great fun.

Of Note

"Lawrence of Arabia" (1962), 11 a.m., Turner Classic Movies. At Sunday's Academy Award ceremony, viewers saw a warm tribute to the talent of Peter O'Toole. Here is a chance to see of his best films, a sweeping epic with O'Toole as British writer and soldier T.E. Lawrence.

Basketball, 11:30 p.m. and 2 p.m., CBS or ESPN. Today, we learn two of the four teams in the college tournament's final four. The others will emerge Sunday.

"Miss Congeniality" (2000), 3 p.m., TBS. Here's another chance to see this fun Sandra Bullock comedy. It also aired Friday and will be shown Sunday.

"Law & Order: Criminal Intent," 8 p.m., NBC. While a Russian mob boss is in jail, his daughter is killed.

"Agency," about 9 p.m., CBS. Jackson Haisley finds a weapons deal linking al-Qaida and the Irish Republican Army.
