LESTER CHOSO ZUKERAN, 93, of Kane'ohe, died March 19, 2003. Born in Waipahu. Retired research vessel captain for the Hawai'i Institute of Marine Biology at Coconut Island with more than 40 years of service; member of the 442nd Regimental Combat Team and recipient of the Purple Heart.
