CALLS TO ARTISTS
The State Foundation on Culture and the Arts announces that applications are being accepted for the Visual Arts Fellowship for professional artists working in two- and three-dimensional media. Up to seven applicants will be selected for a $5,000 award to pursue a project to be completed and displayed by May 1, 2004. Call for guidelines and application form: 586-0736. The Digital Art Society of Hawai'i seeks entries of digital art from Hawai'i artists age 18 or older for the first statewide juried exhibition of digital art. All work must be original 2-D or sculptural artwork created primarily using digital media. Hale'iwa Art Festival seeks visual artists in all media to display, demonstrate and sell their work during the July 26-27 festival. The Hawai'i Division of Forestry and Wildlife seeks submission of paintings to be selected for the 2003/2004 Hawai'i Wildlife Conservation Stamp used for hunting licenses and by collectors.
