Alana

This 2-year-old is looking for a quiet home with no other pets. In the company of gentle adults, she responds with affection and purring. Alana is slender with a coat of orange-tan and white. Look for her in Room 3 at the Cat House.

Kane

Tag No. 16188

This big shepherd mix thrives on praise. Kane is about a year old which means he is a teenager and will benefit from training. Mostly black with tan accents, he gets along well with kids, adults and other dogs.

This adult male cat was found March 13 and remains unclaimed at the Cat House, Room 4. If you have lost this friendly feline with an unusual black and silver coat, visit the shelter to claim him.

MISCELLANEOUS

These particular animals already may have found new homes. Visit to see all the pets in person. The Hawaiian Humane Society & McInerny Dog Park at 2700 Wai'alae Ave. are open noon to 8 p.m. Mondays — Fridays , 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekends. The incoming-animals area always is open.
