Also, a member of Company I, 442nd Regimental Combat Team during WWII and a recipient of the Purple Heart and Bronze Star. Survived by wife, Joan Midori; sons, Conrad, Stephen, Bernard, Robert and Tim; daughters, Ann Yamamoto, Marie Mendelsohn and Margaret Overly; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers, Thomas, George, James, Light and Perry.
