Mid-Pacific ousts Iolani, 7-2

Mid-Pacific scored five runs in the top of the seventh inning to defeat Iolani, 7-2, yesterday and eliminate the Raiders from the Interscholastic League of Honolulu Double-Elimination Baseball Tournament.

The Owls bunched three hits, a sacrifice, an intentional walk and two Raider errors in their decisive scoring surge.

Kevin Whalen batted 3-for-3 for Mid-Pacific, while Reid Saito went 3-for-4 to lead Iolani.
