KEY HOUSE VOTES
1. School vouchers
On Wednesday, the House rejected, 240-182, an amendment to the special education bill that Democrats say would have provided federal funding for a school voucher program. A "yea" vote was to adopt the amendment.

2. Special education funding
On Wednesday, the House passed, 251-171, a bill overhauling the law governing federal aid for special education. A "yea" vote was to pass the bill.

3. Sexual abstinence programs
On Thursday, the House approved, 220-197, an amendment to the AIDS funding bill that would ensure one-third of the money spent for AIDS prevention would go to sexual abstinence programs. A "yea" vote was to adopt the amendment.

4. AIDS funding
Also Thursday, the House passed, 375-41, a bill that would spend $15 billion to combat AIDS and HIV around the world. A "yea" vote was to pass the bill.

KEY SENATE VOTES
1. Appeals court judge
On Tuesday, the Senate confirmed, 52-41, Jeffrey Sutton of Ohio to be a U.S. Circuit Judge for the 6th Circuit. A "yea" vote was to confirm the nominee.
