Hawai'i viewers will be graced with the late surfer's words and images on television, at least when KHET this week airs "Heart of the Sea: Kapolioka'ehukai," a one-hour documentary that includes several interviews with Rell Sunn, above, who died of cancer in 1998. The documentary airs today at 8 p.m. and midnight, then again at 9 Saturday night.

And high school students won't be acting blasé during THIS outing: Students from Kapolei, Kalaheo and Maryknoll will spend May 15 at Sea Life Park as "Kisses" extras, filling the seats at a dolphin show.
For Maryknoll sophomores, it's a class field trip. "I put out an e-mail, and teachers wanted to go, too," said principal Betsey Gunderson.

"Andy teaches a really great class," said Scott Rogers, who runs the acting school.
The one-month course runs Monday and Tuesday nights. Stand-up wannabes test their material at 6:30 p.m. Sundays at the Ward Center Brew Moon pub. Information: 596-8300.
