Tell us what you think of new comics

Advertiser staff

Our newspaper has now launched several new comics, and we hope you are enjoying them.

On April 27, we started "Shortcuts," a youth-oriented activities comic that will run Sundays. It has replaced "Shoe" and "Uncle Art's Funland" in our Sunday comics section.

Yesterday, we premiered "Bo Nanas," "Frazz," "Jump Start," One Big Happy," and "Pearls Before Swine."

"Family Circus" will no longer appear Sundays but continues as a weekday comic.

"Ziggy" no longer appears weekdays, but remains a feature on Sundays.

Today, we unveil "Go Figure," a wry one-panel daily comic written by J.C. Duffy.

We've made the comics changes to bring some new humor and high-quality illustration to our pages. Enjoy our titles, new and old, over breakfast, lunch, or just taking a timeout to relax.

If you'd like to comment, we've set up special voice-mail and e-mail addresses. Call in your comments at 535-2488, or e-mail us at newcomics@honoluluadvertiser.com, with "comics" in the subject line.
