Comedian Dave Attell is bringing his sinful approach to tourism to Honolulu in an "Insomniac with Dave Attell" episode scheduled to be broadcast July 17.
The adult comedy series, which typically shows Attell touring a succession of bars and other sites off the beaten path, premieres May 29.
Cities visited in the fourth season include: Las Vegas (June 5); London (June 12); Salt Lake City ( June 19); Key West, Fla. (June 26); Austin (July 3); Dublin, Ireland (July 10) Columbus, Ohio (July 24) and New York City (July 31). Cities previously explored include Anchorage, Alaska; Nashville, Tenn.; Chicago, Boston, Philadelphia, Boise, Idaho; Reno, Nev.; Atlanta; Montreal; New Orleans; Houston and Tijuana, Mexico.
"Insomniac with Dave Attell" is a travelogue of after-hours experiences nationwide. The comic explores the many occupations of late-night rovers such as himself, exposing viewers to a rather eccentric mix of people who work and play during the night.
Honolulu postings are not available on the site yet, but the "Insomniac" section on comedycentral.com provides diary entries from Attell for each city he's visited, photos he and his crew shot on the road, viewer-submitted photos called the "Night Crawlers Gallery," "Insomniac" games, Attell's stand-up dates and a message board to post commentary.
"Insomniac with Dave Attell" is hosted and written by Attell, who's followed on his adventures by a small crew.
