Tube Notes

Gannett News Service

Tonight's Must-See

"Friends," 7 p.m., NBC. The show took a positive step with the casting of Aisha Tyler. She plays a paleontologist who should be attracted to Ross. Instead, she has been snuggling with Joey. That may change when everyone heads to Barbados, where Ross is the keynote speaker at a conference. Meanwhile, David (Hank Azaria) is set to propose to Phoebe. Mike (Paul Rudd) complicates things.

Of Note

"One Fine Day" (1996), 7 p.m., ABC. George Clooney and Michelle Pfeiffer are each fumbling with single parenthood and busy careers when they meet by accident.

"CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," 7 & 8 p.m., CBS. First is a rerun with a body found near a freeway underpass. Then, a casino heist leads to the killing of a policeman. Someone Catherine is fond of is linked to the crime.

"Without a Trace," 9 p.m., CBS. The season ends by wrapping up a two-parter as Jack negotiates with a kidnapper.
