Tonight's Must-See
"A User's Guide to Home Improvement" (7 p.m.) and "Charlie's Angels" (2000, 8 p.m.), ABC. ABC reruns a couple shows. First is Tim Allen's visit to his former hit show, "Home Improvement." From the "Tool Time" set, he introduces clips and bloopers. Then comes a rerun of "Charlie's Angels," which is a fast, fun film. Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz and Lucy Liu play the sleek crime fighters. The real star, however, is director McG, who makes this a thoroughly entertaining movie.
Of Note
"Trading Spaces: Boys vs. Girls" premiere, 3 p.m., NBC. "Trading Spaces" hatches a version for children. Two boys redecorate a bedroom for a girl and two girls do the same for a boy. Both designs created here are gorgeous.
"Blade Runner" (1982, 11 p.m.), "Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome" (1985, 1:30 p.m.) and "The Road Warrior" (1981, 4 p.m.), Sci Fi Channel. Three great movie adventures run back-to-back. The first has Harrison Ford as a futuristic detective; the next two feature Mel Gibson fighting post-apocalyptic evil.
"The District," 8 p.m., CBS. The season ends with an episode that could nudge the show into a different direction. Fired from his police-chief job, Mannion (Craig T. Nelson) ends up investigating cops and crooks in Arizona.
"Law & Order," 8 p.m., NBC. Here's a quick rerun of a fairly good episode in which Gregory Hines plays the slick lawyer of a teen who shot a cop at random.
"The Agency," 9 p.m., CBS. The season closes with Stiles (Jason O'Mara) trying to rescue a kidnapped Terri Lowell (Paige Turco).
"Saturday Night Live," 10:35 p.m., NBC. The season ends with one of the show's original stars, Dan Aykroyd, as host. Beyonce Knowles (of Destiny's Child fame) goes solo as the musical guest.
