Free forum set for June 7

Hui O Hawaii, the Hawai'i delegation to the World Congress of Youth, is among the groups hosting "See Through My Eyes, Walk in My Shoes," a free forum at 8:30 a.m. June 7 at the Pagoda Hotel.

The forum explores American literature, music and film to find generational perspectives on what it means to be an American. There will be presentations by Maeona Mendelson, executive director of Hawai'i Intergenerational Network; George Tanabe, University of Hawai'iiManoa professor of religion; Reynold Feldman, head of Wisdom Factors International; and Jon K. Osorio, UH professor of Hawaiian studies.

About 17 college-aged students from Hawai'i will be joining more than 40,000 others from 27 countries at the Passion Conferences'

OneDay03, to be held in Sherman, Texas, during the Memorial Day weekend.

In 2000, OneDay became one of the largest collegiate gatherings of its kind to connect in worship and prayer.
