JOE ENOS, former spokesperson for Gap Inc.'s Old Navy stores nationwide, has been named director of marketing and cultural programs at the Four Seasons Resort Hualalai at Historic Ka'upulehu resort on the Big Island. Formerly a project consultant at the Kona-Kohala coast property, Enos worked on a number of inaugural resort events, including opening of the Weiskopf Golf Course and initiation of Hualalai's club membership program. He is now charged with directing and coordinating the marketing and cultural programs at Hualalai.

YUKI LEI SUGIMURA will relinquish her position as Aloha Festivals board member to take over as manager for the festivals' Maui events, including the annual parade and ho'olaulea. She will coordinate all aspects of the two-week celebration, including securing sponsors, volunteers and vendors, and fund raising. The 16-year marketing and event management veteran has worked for the past four years as an economic development specialist for the office of the Maui mayor.

KALANI NAKOA, former associate director of sales for the Hyatt Regency Kauai Resort & Spa, has been named the director of sales and marketing for the Hyatt Regency property on Maui. The 23-year veteran of the hospitality industry will oversee both individual travel sales, as well as group sales reservations for the more than 150 meetings, conventions and incentive group bookings at the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort & Spa each year.

WADE LORD, one of the key members in the redevelopment team for Kaua'i's Kukui Grove Shopping Center, has joined real estate services company CB Richard Ellis Hawaii Inc. as vice president, consulting services, and general manager of the shopping center. In addition to managing the Lihu'e center and surrounding commercial properties, Lord will also handle CBRE Hawai'i brokerage and consulting assignments. His wide-ranging background in shopping center development, management, marketing and leasing has made him knowledgeable in both the real estate and construction processes, including land planning, zoning and government affairs.

GLENN NAGATA, who joined Finance Factors in 1980 as a management trainee, has been promoted to vice president and construction loan administrator. he will coordinate and monitor residential construction loans in progress, and be charged with keeping abreast of construction lending trends, regulations and new developments. He most recently served as vice president and manager for the bank's Kapahulu branch.

JOSEPH ROTHSTEIN, a financial adviser with the Honolulu office of American Express Financial Advisors, has been named to the company's Advanced Advisor Group-Senior Financial Advisors. Selection is based on experience as a successful financial consultant, recognized professional designations, superior financial planning, quality of advice and client service. The designation allows access to advanced planning tools to handle sophisticated client needs.

JENNIFER W. SCOTT, who heads project work for the new Inspirations Retail Center in Pearlridge, and Chaminade University's Freitas Hall renovation, has been named senior project architect at Ferraro Choi & Associates. Scott also shares design responsibility for Moloka'i Hospital and the Midway island Sustainable Facilities Evaluation.

• Locally owned and managed Island Insurance Companies has announced two appointments:

JOYCE FUJIMORI, previously a senior underwriting specialist in the Commercial Insurance Division, has been promoted to assistant underwriting manager in the division. She has more than 20 years in commercial insurance and experience with a number of other insurance companies including marsh USA, Pacific Insurance Co. Ltd. and Industrial Indemnity Co.

Also hired was KURT R. LEMON, as loss control representative, responsible for completing loss control surveys and analysis. He was previously with Hawaii Insurance Bureau, a nonprofit insurance advisory organization, where his responsibilities included surveys of commercial property loss cost.
