• City Bank has stepped in to help Heeia Construction get startup capital to begin a renovation program for low-income clients. The name of the bank was incorrect in a story posted on Thursday.

• The U.S. Postal Service's new Purple Heart stamp will be issued beginning next Friday, May 30. Post offices will be closed Monday, a federal holiday. The Left Lane column posted yesterday gave a wrong date.

• A headline over a letter to the editor posted yesterday mischaracterized the point of the letter. The headline should have said: Public schools offer students so much more.
