Hawaiian OKs trustee decision
Hawaiian Airlines' board of directors will not appeal the decision by a federal bankruptcy judge to appoint a trustee to oversee Hawai'i's largest airline through bankruptcy restructuring.
The board disagrees with the ruling, said John Adams, Hawaiian's CEO. But, he said in a statement, it is in the best interests of all that "Hawaiian Airlines move forward with its restructuring in the most expedient manner possible and without distraction from further court actions."
Marketing firm forms alliance
The Hawai'i research and marketing company SMS has joined with Chicago-based Latham SRM in an alliance to bring comprehensive marketing services to the Islands, the companies said.
