Tonight's Must-See

"Amazing Race 4," 7 p.m., CBS. The first three rounds of this reality show were quick, slick and entertaining. Each sent duos, some mismatched, on a global race for a $1 million prize. The fourth one was expected to begin three months ago, then went into limbo. It finally arrives for some summer diversion. This time, the 12 teams start at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles.

• "30 Seconds to Fame," 7:30 p.m., Fox. Another oddity, back for a summer run. Think of it as a talent show on hyperdrive. Each performer gets only 30 seconds. Some have the standard skills, singing and dancing and such. Others try anything from contortions to acrobatics. The result tends to be fast and fun.

Of Note

"Friends," 7 and 7:30 p.m., NBC. In a late (and wise) change, NBC decided to start the rerun season with the shows that opened the season. That begins after a groggy Rachel thought Joey had proposed shortly after she gave birth. She accepted, confusing everyone. In these two sometimes-hilarious episodes, no one's quite happy.

"Alien Resurrection" (1997), 7 p.m., ABC. The "Alien" movie series didn't die, after all. Ripley (Sigourney Weaver) is brought back, via cloning, to fight monsters.

"Sabrina the Teenage Witch" 7 p.m., WB; and "Sabrina Goes to Rome" (1998), 8 p.m., ABC Family. This might be a sign of impending doom. Melissa Joan Hart is playing the young witch simultaneously on two channels. On the WB, she invites her fiancé's parents to dinner. On cable, she finds glamour and romance in Rome.

"Will & Grace," 8 p.m., NBC. Rosanna Arquette plays Grace's odd neighbor in this rerun.

"CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," 8:30 p.m., CBS. In the rerun of an expanded episode, Grissom traces a link between someone killed at a nightclub party and someone killed at home.
