Coming up

Baseball

• June 10-14 — Vulcans Baseball Camp. Open to boys and girls ages 7 to 12. At the UH-Hilo baseball field. 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. daily. Camp is run by UH-Hilo coach Joey Estrella. Fee: $85. Information: 974-7700.

Basketball

• June 2 — Salt Lake Basketball League. Monday nights. Fee: $375 per team. Information: Jerry Goode, 488-4478, 781-4836 or 537-5619.

• June 6 — Deadline for Vulcan Basketball School. At UH-Hilo gymnasiums. June 25-28. Open to boys and girls, ages 8-18. First 200 applicants accepted. Camp runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Fee: $110 before June 6; $130 after. Information: Eric Sanchez 959-9052.

• June 9-13 — Hawai'i Baptist Basketball HoopCamp. At Hawai'i Baptist Gym. Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Friday, 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Open to boys and girls entering fourth through 12th grade. Fee: $100. Information: 595-2469.

• June 12 — Lanakila Open Basketball League, at Lanakila. Fee: $400 per team. Information: Edie 342-1743.

• June 12 — Deadline for Brother Noland Goodwill Basketball Tournament. At Palama Gym, Aug. 9-17. Open to boys and girls. Age group divisions 9-11, 12-13, 14-15, and 16-17. Information: Glenn Martin, 239-9937.

Kayaking

Tennis

Track & Field

• Through mid-June — Hawai'i Kai Track Club First Practice and Signups. At Kaiser High School Track. Open to runners, jumpers, vaulters and throwers. 4 p.m. for athletes born 1990 or earlier. 4:45 p.m. for athletes born 1991 and later. Practices are Tuesdays and Thursdays. Triathlon

• May 31 — Café Note North Shore Triathlon. 400-yard swim, 10-mile bike, 3-mile run. Start time 6:30 a.m. Fee: $60 individual, $95 teams. Late entries accepted at packet pickup at Boca Hawai'i.
