Weekly Thought
Nowadays we don't entertain ourselves; we have to be entertained. We have a pitifully small stock of interests and ideas. We read fewer and fewer books and look at more and more television. Conversation is becoming a lost art because for nights on end, families sit in silence, their eyes riveted on the TV screen. We have more leisure time than ever before but we fritter away time aimlessly and trivially.
Thoughts by the late Rev. Paul Osumi are selected weekly by his family.
