How Hawai'i hotels are faring

Statewide occupancy posted a gain to 66.8 percent for the week ended Nov. 1 and average daily room rates increased to $134.62, according to Hospitality Advisors LLC. O'ahu led all islands with 69.5 percent occupancy and its average room rate grew to $122.43. Maui recorded 69.2 percent occupancy and had the highest rate at $158.99. Kaua'i recorded 65 percent occupancy while the Big Island stood at 54.3 percent.
