Bell scored on a 5-yard run in the first quarter to give Farrington a 7-0 lead, then had a 1-yard TD plunge in the third quarter to help the Govs go up, 14-6. He finished with 59 yards rushing, 54 yards receiving and 42 yards on a punt return.
On their final drive, the Trojans marched 77 yards to the Farrington 22-yard line, but Governors defensive lineman Fetaiagogo Fonoti came up with a sack on third down, and a fumble recovery after a bad snap on fourth down with 33 seconds remaining.
Farrington (6-4-1) will play the Big Island Interscholastic Federation champion in the state tournament's first round on Nov. 21 at Hilo or Kona. Mililani (9-2) will play Interscholastic League of Ho-nolulu champion Saint Louis (7-1) that same night.
Trojans linebacker Chris Villamor was injured on a blindside block during a third-quarter punt return and was taken away by ambulance. Mililani coach James Millwood said Villamor suffered a neck injury, but should be OK.
"He felt tingling throughout his body, but he could move his arms and legs," Millwood said."
