Crash closes Hau'ula roadway

A collision between a stolen car and garbage truck today forced the closure of Kamehameha Highway in Hau'ula in both directions. The accident fronting 52-200 Kamehameha Highway occurred at 10:40 a.m.Initial reports indicated there were no critical injuries.
Police said the garbage truck’s drive shaft and axle were damaged and the vehicle could not be moved from the roadway.
