Aloha offering discount fares

Aloha Airlines is promoting sale fares for flights on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, including $400 roundtrip fares for flights between Hawai'i and the Mainland and $59 one-way interisland fares. The sale runs through Nov. 18 for travel today to Feb. 29.



Internet service provider sold

Honolulu-based Pacific LightNet Inc. acquired Kailua, Kona-based Internet service provider interLink Hawaii.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Pacific LightNet said interLink Hawaii will continue to operate using its own name, but will offer added premium services, including a dial-up access accelerator.



'Keep it Hawai'i' entries sought

The Hawai'i Tourism Authority and the Hawai'i Visitors & Convention Bureau are taking entries for the annual "Keep it Hawai'i" awards recognizing individuals, organizations and companies that work to maintain and preserve Hawai'i's culture.

The deadline for entries is Jan. 30. For information, call The Schiller Agency at 539-5720.



HVCB pitching Hawai'i in Taipei

The Hawai'i Visitors & Convention Bureau is sending a marketing team to Taiwan for two weeks to promote travel to Hawai'i at the Taipei International Travel Fair Nov. 15-18 followed by promotional events in Taipei and Hsinchu.
