New Year's Eve dinner concert to star Isaac Hayes

If you prefer a more intimate setting to see Isaac Hayes and Gloria Gaynor perform on New Year's Eve than the Blaisdell Arena, here's your chance.
Before taking the stage for their Blaisdell show, Hayes and Gaynor will take part in a concert at the Kahala Mandarin Oriental beginning at 8:30 p.m., along with B.J. Thomas, Freda Payne and the David Gest Band and singers.

The concert is being presented by producer David Gest. Tickets are $275 for silver section, $380 for gold and $500 for platinum section. Tickets for the Kahala Mandarin show went on sale at 9 a.m. today and include a four-course dinner, champagne and a midnight toast with noise-makers and party favors. A fireworks display is slated for midnight.
