Weddings

Lorena Alarcon Casas, daughter of Hector Alarcon Sagahon of Mexico and Dr. Casas Rodriguez of Mexico, and Neil Alan Wright, son of the late John Wright and Christine Wright of San Jose, Calif., were married Feb. 10 at the Eternal Flame in Honolulu. A ceremony and reception were held Aug. 23 in Xalapa, Veracruz, Mexico. The bride is now Lorena Alarcon Casas Wright. The couple live in Honolulu.

Jessica Sachiko Hirota, daughter of Alan and Norma Hirota, and Andrew Leo Niles, son of William and Carol Ann Niles, were married Aug. 22 at Kualoa Ranch, where the reception followed. The bride (Punahou 1996/Yale 2000), now Jessica Sachiko Niles, is an actress. The groom (Grand Junction, Colo. Central 1996/University of Michigan 2000) is an actor. The couple live in New York City.

Leigh Maria Ramos, daughter of Ramon N. and Lagrimas (Inday) G. Ramos of Mililani, and Lorne Anthony Platt, son of Cecil and Helen Platt of Northridge, Calif., were married Aug. 1 at the Kahala Mandarin Oriental Hawaii, where the reception followed. The bride (Maryknoll High/University of Michigan 1993, 1996/UH-Manoa John A. Burns School of Medicine doctor's, 2001), now Leigh Maria Kristi Galila Ramos-Platt, is a physician. The groom (Granada High/University of California Santa Cruz 1990, 1994/California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo, Calif. doctor's 1996) is a teacher. The couple live in Redlands, Calif.

Jaime Lyn M. Sandobal, daughter of the late Jose Sandobal and April Sandobal of Kane'ohe, and Quinton H. Kamaunu, son of Howard and Marlene Kamaunu of Kalihi, were married Feb. 14 at The Church of Latter-day Saints Tabernacle of Honolulu. The bride (Kamehameha Schools) is now Jaime Lyn M.S. Kamaunu. The groom is a graduate of Farrington High. The couple live in Kane'ohe.
