A former Miss Kona Coffee, McMichael is a seven-time Ironman Triathlon World Championship finisher. She is featured in Outdoor's article on "25 Sports and Adventure Goddesses Who Rule," in which she describes her Kona lifestyle and her active regimen in a variety of sports.
Her national fame is growing. She will co-host "Adventure Challenge," which debuts in December on HDNet, a new cable network, where she will offer on-screen sports instruction — but the channel is not available in Hawai'i.
