Tonight's Must-See
"Friends," 7 and 7:30 p.m., NBC. This show's Thanksgiving-themed episodes have been an annual delight. Now there is a new one at 7 p.m., followed by a rerun of last year's show, at 7:30. The new one has Monica preparing a grand feast. She's obsessive, as usual.
Of Note
"The Bachelor: The Final Rose," 7 p.m., ABC. On Wednesday, "The Bachelor" showed which woman Estella or Kelly Jo was chosen by Bob Guiney. Now we see what they've done since the taping was finished.
"Only the Lonely" (1991), 8 p.m., ABC Family. Chris Columbus usually directs big-audience movies, including "Home Alone" and the first "Harry Potter" film. This time, however, he crafted a sweet romance that was perfectly cast. John Candy played a quiet cop, drawn to a pensive young woman (Ally Sheedy). Maureen O'Hara and Anthony Quinn are great in support.
"Peter Jennings Reporting," 8 p.m., ABC. Cable networks have been busy all week, looking at the upcoming (on Saturday) 40th anniversary of John Kennedy's assassination. Here, ABC re-examines the evidence surrounding the assassination.
"Frontline: Who Was Lee Harvey Oswald?," 9 p.m., PBS. Another network joins the Kennedy rush. In this case, "Frontline" reruns its previous Oswald profile.
"Scrubs," 8:30 p.m., NBC. J.D.'s relationship with Danni (Tara Reid) is heating up. Things get complicated, however, when he works and plays with Dr. Cox.
"ER," 9 p.m., NBC. Above the hospital, an air crash might have involved someone Lewis briefly married. Meanwhile, Romano rages at Pratt and at Abby who wonders what Carter is doing now in Africa.
"Without a Trace," 9 p.m., CBS. A heroic firefighter has disappeared.
