Nov. 21 — Variety School Invitational Fund-raising Tournament, at New 'Ewa Beach Golf Club. Check-in at 9:30 a.m., shotgun start at 11 a.m. Format: Three-player scramble. Fee: $150 per individual, $450 per team. Information: Variety School, 732-2835.

Nov. 29 — Deadline for 2003 Turtle Bay Amateur, a Governor's Cup event that will be held Dec. 6-7 at Turtle Bay Resort Golf Club, Palmer and Fazio Courses. Fee: $150, includes lunch both days and gifts. The champion of each flight will be the player with the lowest 36-hole gross score; no cut. To be eligible, golfers must have a handicap affiliated with the USGA, HSGA or HJGA. The tournament committee reserves the right to accept or reject any application and move players into different flights. The following flights will be available: Championship flight, 0 and below, 5.0; A flight, 5.1-10.0 handicap; B flight, 10.1-15.0 handicap; C flight, 15.1 and above. Flights will be limited to the first 52 amateurs per flight.

Dec. 6-7 — Golf benefit for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, at the Kona Country Club's Mauka and Ocean courses. Fee: $150 for the 36-hole, stroke-play event.
