Catch of the day

It took a team effort on the part of Honolulu husband and wife, Al and Connie Serafin, to snag this 7-pound, 24-inch rainbow trout at Convict Lake in the Mammoth Lakes area of California recently. As Al tried to bring the fish in, Connie got the net. She managed to get the fish in the net, as Al's 6-pound line snapped. "We both grabbed him as he was not through fighting," Al wrote. "We were both in shock when we got a look at the size of this guy." The Serafins took their catch to Rick's Sport Center, where Rick took a picture and posted it on his "Catch of the Day" board.
