LOUISE POMAIKAI CARPENTER, 89, of Kane'ohe, died Nov. 19, 2003. Born in Honolulu. Retired chief operator from PACAF Headquarters Hickam Air Force Base with more than 35 years of service. Survived by sons, Monte, Dante and Clifford; daughters, Iwalani Sowa and Erica Arikawa; 25 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; brother, Samuel Kakelaka.
