Blood Bank seeks donors

Advertiser Staff

The Blood Bank of Hawaii is looking for donations in the community in December to help keep up with the demand during the holiday season.

"The holidays are tough on the state's blood supply and this year will be no exception," said Blood Bank president Dr. Robyn Yim. Usually, people are busy with holiday festivities and vacations and often don't give blood even though the demand continues, she said.

Donors must be 18 or older, weigh 110 pounds or more and provide a valid photo ID.

For more information, call 845-9966 or go to www.bbh.org.
