'Dogs in Hood' gives classics a canine spin

Coach, Polo join Waikele outlet mall
High-end designer lovers will appreciate Waikele Premium Outlets' newest additions: Coach and Polo Ralph Lauren, and hard-core shoppers will love that the stores are open today.
The stores join the center's roster of nearly 50 designer and name-brand outlets, including Anne Klein, Banana Republic Factory Store, Barneys New York Outlet, bebe, Brooks Brothers, Kenneth Cole, Max Mara and Tommy Hilfiger.
The center, which attracts millions of visitors each year, will be open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. today, Thanksgiving Day. Donors sought for Locks of Love
Give the gift of hair to a child who is suffering from hair loss at the Locks of Love hair-donation event, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at Salon Bobbi N' Guy at Ward Warehouse.
Locks of Love is a nonprofit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children suffering from long-term medical hair loss. The agency uses donated hair to create high-quality hair prosthetics.
If you can donate at least 10 inches of hair that has not been color-treated, call 591-2899 for an appointment, which includes a free haircut and styling. There will be entertainment, as well as prizes awarded to the person with the longest hair.
