Waikiki parade tomorrow

The Waikiki Holiday Parade featuring 19 marching bands and Pearl Harbor survivors will start at 7 p.m. tomorrow on Kalakaua Avenue from Fort DeRussy to the Honolulu Zoo.

Mayor Jeremy Harris will be the grand marshal for the fifth annual event sponsored by the Doubletree Alana Hotel.

High school bands from Hawai'i and the Mainland will take part in the event along with fire trucks, clowns, military bands and cheerleaders.

A reviewing stand will be set up in front of the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center for dignitaries and guests.
