Ashanti coming to Blaisdell

Hip-hop and R&B star Ashanti is heading Honolulu's way Oct. 30 for a 7 p.m. concert at the Blaisdell Arena. Music fans might recall that she pulled out of summer 2002 gig at the 50th State Fair, leaving Ja Rule to go it alone.

All is forgiven. Especially if she graces us with her hits such as "Rock Wit U (Awww Baby)," "Foolish" and "Happy." Tickets — $39.50 — go on sale at 9 a.m. Saturday at the box office and Ticketmaster outlets.
