Golf notices

Ongoing — Yo-Golf Series, every Sunday from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m., conducted by Kiyoko Sieradzki, LPGA teaching professional, at Aloha Academy of Golf at Ko'olau. Classes combine yoga and golf and are designed to condition, sharpen mental focus, relax and enhance enjoyment. Using yoga poses and techniques, golfers can increase flexibility, balance and strength. Open to women and men. Cost is $15 per session or $48 for a series. Oct. 15 — Deadline for the inaugural State Senior Championships, Nov. 8-9, at the Leilehua Golf Course. Golfers 55 and older by Nov. 7 with a USGA GHIN handicap index of no higher than 25 for men and 31 for women are eligible for the 36-hole stroke-play event. Entry fee is $125.
