Shopping list: If you couldn't get tickets to the sold-out "Folks You Meet at Longs," the Lee Cataluna comedy that's a Kumu Kahua hit, make a mental note now. We have it on good authority that a "raincheck" run — that's store talk for a revival — is slated for July. Cancel or reschedule your trip, and stay tuned for details on when ticket sales will begin. (The current extended run continues through Oct. 10, but tickets are long gone.)

Media mania: Politicos and media watchers, get your tickets now for the annual Gridiron Show, 8 p.m. Oct. 24-25 at Diamond Head Theatre. This year's theme is "Media Molesta" (remember the noxious weed Salvinia molesta?) as media types spoof the year's news events. Tickets are $45 and $55; $10 discount for Society of Professional Journalists members. It's a benefit for the Asian American Journalists Association, Hawai'i chapter. www.gridironhawaii.org.
