AROUND TOWN
Used book sale on Manoa campus

Come on, kids, let's read together. Gather up the clan and head to Children's Literature Hawai'i's fourth annual children's used book sale, 11 a.m.-3 p.m. today in the courtyard of Krauss Hall at the University of Hawai'i-Manoa.

There you'll find picture books, easy readers, young adult novels and nonfiction titles in good condition.

What about parking? If you park on campus and pay the $3 fee, show your stub at the book sale and get a $3 discount on your purchases.

Proceeds from the sale benefit the 2004 Biennial Conference on Literature and Hawai'i's Children.
