Police and relatives are asking for the public's help in finding Gail Harada, a 41-year-old Salt Lake woman who was reported missing on Friday.
Harada's mother, Ethel Yoshioka, and brother Nathan Yoshioka said Harada has a medical condition and becomes confused when she does not take her medication. They said they do not think she has her medication with her.
Gail Harada was last seen Friday morning.
They are asking anyone who has seen Harada to call police.
Harada is 4 feet 11 inches and 125 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes and is of Japanese ancestry.
Her husband, Keith Harada, said he is not certain what his wife was wearing when she left their apartment on Ala Napunani Street, but thinks she might have been dressed in shorts and a T-shirt.
Harada said his wife was with him when he went to sleep about 2:30 a.m. Friday, but said she was gone when he awoke at 8:30 a.m.
Family members have been trying to contact anyone who might have seen Gail Harada after that, but have been unsuccessful.
Harada does not drive. She often uses the bus to run errands and to shop in Salt Lake and Pearlridge.
Police asked that anyone with information about Harada call the missing persons detail at 529-3394, or contact CrimeStoppers at 955-8300. The missing persons detail can also be contacted by e-mail at pcamero@co.honolulu.hi.us.
