After postponing auditions for a week to avoid conflict with "American Idol" tryouts in Honolulu, producers of the CBS-TV reality series "The Amazing Race" will look at pairs of potential competitors from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at Subway at Restaurant Row.
The show is looking for a duo with a local flair, such as hula dancers or people who have only-in-Hawai'i jobs.
Competitors must be 21 or older, in good physical and mental health, and have a current passport. Duos can be married, a romantic couple (gay or straight), co-workers, relatives or friends. The last winners were Chip and Reichen, a couple from California.
You also must be available through May 2004 and willing to travel for 30 to 40 days beginning in January 2004.
