Cyanotech executive leaves

Cyanotech Corp. announced yesterday that Robert Shane Rohan, its vice president for production, left the Big Island company for unspecified reasons.

The company said the move would not affect operations.

Rohan joined Cyanotech in 1992 as culture biologist and production manager before assuming the role of production vice president.

Cyanotech, which makes BioAstin and other products from microalgae, is in the process of appealing a decision by the Nasdaq Stock Market to remove the company's listing because its share price has remained below $1 for more than a year.

ATA Airlines Inc. will begin daily nonstop flights between Seattle and Honolulu on Feb. 20.

The airline said the addition means it will offer the fourth-highest number of flights between Hawai'i and the Mainland, with service from Los Angeles, San Francisco and Seattle to Hawai'i.
