City adds sites for buying bus passes

The city has expanded the list of places where senior citizens and disabled riders can obtain new bus passes and photo identification cards.

The processing centers include locations in Wai'anae, Waipahu, Hawai'i Kai and Kapolei, city officials said yesterday. They recommended that seniors and disabled riders go to a processing center close to home.

Here is the list of places and dates, as of yesterday:

  • TheBus main office, 811 Middle St., weekdays, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • Blaisdell Center, Oct. 20-24, Oct. 27-31, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Pearlridge Center, today and tomorrow, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Windward Mall, Old Coconut Grove site, today and tomorrow, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Kane'ohe Community Center, today, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Wai'anae Neighborhood Community Center, Monday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Oct. 29 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • Filipino Community Center, 94-428 Mokuola St., Waipahu, Tuesday and Wednesday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Koko Head District Park, Oct. 27, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Kapolei Hale, first-floor conference room, 1101 Uluohia St., Oct. 30, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
