Shannon Elise Crowder, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Crowder of Honolulu, and John Stephen Juniper, son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Juniper, were married on July 26 at Haiku Gardens in Kane'ohe, where the reception followed. The bride, now Shannon Elise Juniper, is a teacher. The groom is an advertising executive. The couple live in Southern California.

Jennifer Gushikuma, daughter of Bernard and Vinnie Aoto of Honolulu and the late Patricia Aoto, and Alan Alvaro, son of Anna Alvaro of Honolulu and the late Henry Alvaro, were married Aug. 16 at SHOPO Hall in Honolulu, where the reception followed. The bride (1991 Kaimuki High), now Jennifer Alvaro, is a photo clerk. The groom (1984 Kalani High) is a produce manager. The couple have three children, Cody Gushikuma and Zachary Alvaro, both 7 years old, and Casey Alvaro, 8 months old. The family lives in Honolulu.

Jennifer Miki Oshiro, daughter of Chester and Jean Oshiro of Honolulu, and Gregg Takeshi Teruya, son of Ronald and Cheryl Teruya of 'Aiea, were married Aug. 30 at the Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort, where the reception followed. The bride (Hawaii Baptist Academy/Chaminade University), now Jennifer Teruya, is a teacher. The groom (Pearl City High) is a plumber. The couple live in 'Aiea.

William E. Woods and Lance W. Bateman, son of June Bateman of Tulsa, Okla., were married on Aug. 31 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The reception is scheduled for Nov. 1 at the Halekulani Hotel. Woods is formerly from Arthur, Ill. Bateman (Tulsa Central High/RiceUniversity/Phillips University/University of Washington), formerly of Tulsa, Okla., is an operations manager. The couple live in Honolulu.

Lynne Yasuda, daughter of Doreen Yasuda of Kapolei, and Bernardo Pascua, son of Lumen and Irene Pascua of Los Angeles, were married on Aug. 17 at the Sheraton Waikiki Hotel, where the reception followed. The bride is now Lynne Pascua. The couple live in Kapolei.
