Funeral held for baby who died in car

Advertiser Staff

Private funeral services were held Tuesday for Anuhea Paet, the 10-month-old girl who died last week after being found in a hot, locked car.

Anuhea was pronounced dead at Castle Medical Center on Oct. 13, shortly after she was removed from her mother's car at the Windward YMCA. Police said the mother, Susanna Hunt, left the child in the car as she taught a physical therapy class.

No arrests have been made in the case as police investigate the death.

In addition to her mother, Anuhea is survived by her father, Kiley Paet; maternal grandparents, Gregory and Susan Hunt; and maternal great-grandparents, Masato and Lynn Tamashiro.
