Thursday, Nov. 4 — Deadline for Hawai'i State Open, at Mauna Kea Resort, Hapuna Golf Course, Nov. 14 to 16. Oct. 28 for exempt entries and Nov. 4 for non-exempt entries. Nov. 2 — Hawai'i State Junior Golf Association College Workshop. At University of Hawai'i-Manoa Athletic Complex, Room 241. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Fee: Free to HSJGA members and their families and $5 for non-members. Information: 532-0559 or www.hsjga.org.
Nov. 8 — T&L Golf Travel Industry Shootout, at Mauna Lani's South Course, Big Island. Shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. Fee: $145. Information: (808) 961-5797.
