Cats love to look out the window, especially this affectionate adult named Tommie. Already neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, Tommie is ready to go to his new home today. A big guy, he has a mostly white coat with gray accents.

Spike

October is Love-A-Dog month, and Spike is looking for love. This tan 10-year-old lhasa apso is exceptionally adorable with a calm disposition. Thanks to the Seniors for Seniors program, Spike's adoption fee will be waived for anyone 60 or older.

LOST

Bob

This 2-year-old basenji/terrier mix is being called Bob, but he could have another name. He was found Oct. 17 and remains unclaimed at the humane society. If you have lost this slender, shy brown dog, please visit the shelter to claim him.

These animals already may have found new homes. Visit the other pets at the Hawaiian Humane Society and McInerny Dog Park, 2700 Wai'alae Ave., noon to 8 p.m. weekdays and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekends.
